4. Installing Printer Driver
    
    Install driver under Windows Server 2003 operation system.
    (1)Ensure operation system. is running.
    (2)Click [Start] button.
    (3)Click [Printers and Faxes] item.
    (4)Click [Add a printer] item.
    (5)Click [Next] button.
    (6)Cancel [Automatically detect and install my plug and play printer] item,Click      [Next] button.
    (7)Select a printer port,Click [Next] button.
    (8)Click [Have Disk] button.
    (9)Confirm the path of print driver,three ways:
      .Print driver is in A: driver, click [OK] button.
      .Click [Browse] to select the path of the driver,click [OK] button.
      .Input the path of the driver, then click [OK] button.
    (10)Click [Next] button.
    (11)Click [Next] button. 
    (12)If you want to print a test page,please select [Yes],otherwise select [No],Click [Next] button.
    (13)Click [Finish] button.
    (14)Click [Continue Anyway].
    

5. Printer Settings
 
    5.1. Paper Size
         This specifies the paper size used when printing :80 x 297mm ,80 x 210mm and               user defined size.

    5.2. Resolution:200 x 180
 
    5.3. Paper Source
         This selects the method of outputing paper.
         No Cut
         No Cut[No Feed]
         Partial Cut
         Full Cut

    5.4. Paper Quality
         This specifies whether opening the Cash Drawer, Cash Drawer #1 or Cash Drawer #2.

    5.5. Paper Destinations
         This specifies the time of the beeper giving an alarm ,before printing or after           printing.

    5.6. Text Quality
         This specifies whether printing NV Bitmap,and NV Bitmap ID 1--9.

    5.7. Print Density
         This specifies the print density used when printing ,the range of pirnt density           is Density 1--Density 16

    In Windows 2003 Server, they can be set in the [advanced] screen of the printer's "Printing Preferences" dialog.


7. Remarks

    The process of user defined size in Windows 2003 Server system:
    Please confirm the driver has been installed correctly before setting paper. 
    (1)Ensure system is running.
    (2)Click [Start] button.
    (3)Click [Printers] icon in [Settings] item, or in WinXp Click [Printers and Faxes] icon.
    (4)Click [File] in main menu.
    (5)Click [Server Properties] .
    (6)Select [Create a New Form] in the item of [Forms], fill in [Form Description], then define Paper Size and print Area Margins.
    (7)Click [Save Form] button and click [OK] button.
